Lighting & Lighting Control: Bringing Design to Life

In this Vesta home, Miestro provided architectural lighting for the kitchen, breakfast area, and foyer using DMF’s Dim-to-Warm fixtures ( DMF LUXURY). These smart lights soften in color temperature as they dim, mimicking the natural warmth of candlelight for a comfortable, elegant ambiance.

While these fixtures can work with traditional dimmers, Miestro took it further—integrating them with smart dimmers, switches, and custom keypads. That means the home can “remember” the perfect setting for every moment of the day.

Linear Lighting: Clean Lines, Elevated Design

In this home, Miestro provided all linear lighting using a premium solution from Klus Designs (KLUS). You’ll find this sleek, architectural lighting installed in multiple spaces, each chosen for both function and impact:

• Kitchen – Under-cabinet toe-kick overhang
• Formal Dining Room – Inset in the ceiling tray
• Study – Mud-in ceiling fixture
• Exercise Room – Mud-in ceiling fixture
• Primary Closets – Mud-in ceiling fixtures
• Primary Bathroom/Spa – Multiple mud-in fixtures and surface-mounted lighting behind the soaking tub

This high-performance lighting isn’t just a design trend—it’s gaining popularity for good reason. Linear lighting offers a refined aesthetic while delivering exceptional illumination quality.

Too often, LED tape lighting is treated as an afterthought by electrical contractors. At Miestro, we follow best practices:

Every LED tape installation is paired with an aluminum channel and lens.

The aluminum channel dissipates heat, preserving the life of the LEDs. The lens diffuses the light, creating a smooth, even glow—no harsh spots or exposed diodes.

  And to ensure the Frame TV sits perfectly flush against the wall—just like real art—we install every unit with a VersaBox, provided by Miestro. This recessed box houses the large power supplies and connections behind the wall, eliminating bulk and delivering a true gallery-style finish.
• Exercise Room – Features a stunning Séura Vanishing Mirror TV cleverly concealed in a ballet bar mirror. Whether you’re following a virtual trainer or catching the game during a workout, the display disappears into the decor when off.
